Scanning and Editing Service for Photographers

At escanning.co.uk we are dedicated to delivering the very best in photographic scanning and image enhancement. We have several years experience in providing images for major image libraries such as Alamy, Robert Harding, Getty Images, Collections, and Imagesfrance.

We provide a full service from the initial scan to embedding captioning information ready for image libraries. With the vast
majority of clients now wanting digital files more and more libraries will only accept top quality digital scans from their contributing photographers.

Service includes:-

• Scanning to Picture Library Requirements - Files are scanned to
  65-70mg. Tiff files at 300ppi RGB colour
• Cleaning up - removal of all dust and scratches
• Levels Correction - Lifting of shadows - toning down of highlights
• Correction of sloping horizons, barrel & pincushion distortion and converging verticals
• Conversion to Adobe RGB (1998) colour space - Profile is embedded in scan
• Insertion of ITPC data - we will caption & keyword your images if you send us the information on a printed sheet or word processing
  file
• Burn the images to CD or DVD - these are cross-platform disks which can be read by either PC's or Apple-Macs

Scanning + Editing + Captioning costs £1:00 per scan for 35mm and £2.00 up to 6 x 9.
